A large glazed extension has transformed a previously unfriendly and imposing Citadel into an open, welcoming and accessible Church and community facility.

The extension lifts the presence of the Salvation Army within Warrington and the additional space provided allows an expansion of the extensive community programme carried out by the local Corps.

The building now provides spaces suitable for large group activities to more intimate contemplation.
