19 Fulwood Park is a Grade II listed building within the Fulwood Park Conservation Area in Liverpool, which has been subject to successive unsympathetic extensions and internal alterations. The scheme will create 5 family houses through a combination of conversion of the original Mansion House and carefully conceived new build within its grounds.
The Mansion House: Renewal of the building envelope, including careful demolition of the poorer quality extensions, in order to reveal and restore the grandeur of the Victorian house, within which 3 townhouses will be created.
The Coach House: A reinstated Coach House, replacing a poor quality extension and containing a family dwelling accessed from the original trade entrance.
The Glass House: A contemporary reinterpretation of a glass house to the rear of the Mansion House. This family dwelling will appear as a small glazed pavilion and will be all but invisible other than from within its own grounds.
The Grounds: Extensive tree planting and a mature landscape scheme to enhance both the site and the wider character of Fulwood Park.
